Everyday Sacred:
Engaging Spirituality through Scripture and the Christian Tradition“There is one body and one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God of all who is above all and through all and in all… Each of us was given grace…for building up the body of Christ until all of us come…to maturity… We must no longer be children blown about by every wind…but, speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ…”
~ Ephesians 4:4a, 5a, 7a, 12b, 13a, c–14a, 15
Do you ever wonder what all the hype around “spirituality” is about?
Are you someone who believes you are too ordinary to grow closer to God?
Have you wondered how to transition from the faith of your childhood to an adult faith that offers an anchor in life’s inevitable suffering?
Would you like to get more comfortable with the Bible?
How might an encounter with the core beliefs common to Christian traditions impact your spirituality?

“Engaged” spirituality is not just for Sundays or specific prayer times but encompasses all of life: one’s exterior life of work, leisure, family, relationships, physical health, culture, and global events – and one’s inner life: thoughts, emotions, psyche, inner wounds, deep desires, and profound longings for “the more”— more love, more life, more of God.
Everyday Sacred is an eight-module program across two semesters. It invites participants to explore the elements of their own spirituality, and create, expand, and adapt a personal life-changing spirituality that is rooted in Scripture and nourished by the wisdom of Christian tradition.
Participants from all Christian backgrounds honoring the rich diversity of the Body of Christ are encouraged to attend.
